Allow Us to Introduce…The Clubhouse!
We are so excited to share a sneak peek of The Clubhouse before it’s ready to book on May 1st! We, along with our real estate agent, scoured listings daily to find this place. Our real estate agent can walk into a house and know if we’ll like it because we’ve worked together for so many years, and we remember finally getting that text from her with the listing for The Clubhouse. Needless to say, it was love at first sight!
There was something about the beams and the wood ceiling that we were immediately drawn to, and we were drawn to the presentation of the front of the home. We knew we had to look at this house right away. The price points and the location right on the second hole of the golf course are perfect. You have the view of the golf course in a nice area with high-end homes, so it’s a perfect place for somebody to have a luxurious stay in Lake Havasu. And it’s about a five-minute car ride to Vista Lago for big groups that want to rent both!
Making The Clubhouse Ours
We were so excited to get to work after the house closed on February 12th! When you think of The Clubhouse, you’ll think of a house near the golf course where people can have a drink, play games, or hang out by the pool and relax. Starting from the outside, we painted the exterior our signature Crystal White by LaHabra Stucco. We’re changing the lighting out front, and doing some landscaping work in the yards. On the inside of the house, we tiled every inch of the home, put in new baseboards, and did all new interior paint.
We worked hard to get the ceiling and beams just right. The ceiling was white, but the beams were painted dark brown. They weren’t stained and honestly we did not like the look of them. We didn’t want it to look like The Den, so we decided to have it all painted white for a more open feel. It’s always scary to paint something that’s so massive, but the ceilings look amazing.
We’ll add our decor and our touch with recessed lighting in every room and bathroom, put in new mirrors, hardware, and faucets, and incorporate a beauty bar in one of the areas. It really is getting a complete facelift!
The Feel of the Clubhouse
The Clubhouse has a Palm Springs retro-type feel to it. The home was built in 1972 and has since been remodeled. We’re going to play off what it has and incorporate The Clubhouse feel to it. In the backyard, we’re thinking about doing a putting green, a hammock with some pops of color, a spa, turf with games, and a ping pong table to make it feel like an outdoor experience on the golf course. We’ll finish it off by doing some wood texturing and of course, string lights and plants. Can you tell we’re really excited about the backyard?
We’re super proud that it fits in with our style. It’ll be very similar to Vista Lago with our design style that features a lot of black and white and neutral, but this one will have a pop of color. Lisa will incorporate hints of golf by bringing in the green color, along with coffee table books, prints, and more! If you've seen her work in any of the other properties you know she has such an eye for detail so we're anxious to see what she has up her sleeve!
Experiences at The Clubhouse
The perfect guest for The Clubhouse is just about anybody! Friends, groups of couples, family reunions, you name it! Whether you’re coming to Havasu during the busy when to enjoy the water activities or the off-season for the golf course or a special occasion, The Clubhouse is perfect for you.
The home has a family room separate from the living room around the fireplace with lots of room for everybody to spread out! We can't wait to bring our family here and have a good ol fashion game night. It’s a 2800 square feet single story with a split floorplan. The master bedroom is on one side and the other bedrooms are on the other side, with the kitchen and the family room in the middle surrounding the pool.
Be sure to stop in town to eat at least once! There’s not just the golf course we’re on, but there are a few other golf courses in town too. If golfing is your game, we highly suggest grabbing a few buddies and exploring the Havasu golf scene.
The Red Onion is going to be the perfect restaurant for our guests because it caters to all age groups, so go grab a mimosa with brunch and breakfast. If you’re more of a dinner person, check out Shugrue’s, Martini Bay, and Angelina’s. The clubhouse finds itself in a neat area that's close to all these local hot spots and makes for a really great experience during your stay.
